Community Associations outsource most of their labor needs by contracting with outside vendors and professionals like you. All of these contracted services require a vibrant, healthy and well-trained workforce, such as gardeners, carpenters, roofers, janitors, maintenance technicians, electricians, plumbers, security officers, managers, professionals and administrative support staff (to name a few). To remain competitively priced, many service providers must employ lower cost non-union laborers, who are more at risk for financial hardship in the high priced Bay Area.
It's not just the laborers who are at risk. Even higher paid workers are but one family emergency or unexpected expense away from financial turmoil. We aim to partner with service providers like you to give workers some help when the need arises. Together we can make a difference.
Collins Management sits at the cross section of service providers and community associations, placing us in the unique position to coordinate efforts and pool resources for the benefit of the workers, who are indispensable to our shared missions as service providers.
We all know the standard marketing model, which often involves service providers making the rounds, providing managers with food, drink, events and swag, to raise brand awareness and generate business. What if there was a way to greatly increase that awareness while investing in the community and your employees? Doing exactly that is our mission!

Your donation will be used to provide financial assistance to struggling employees working in community associations. 50% of our donation will go directly to your employees, in the form of grants and scholarships for those truly in need. The remaining 50% will be held in a general fund to be distributed to workers in need. To receive funds, workers must pass a stringent application and review process. Since our foundation has no employees, and all overhead is donated, we will distribute 100% of all funds collected.
Please tell others in our industry about our foundation. We are looking for involvement from other management companies,. professional organizations and all other vendors and professionals who serve community associations.
